Nour Z.

West Ottawa

I became a caregiver through my nursing program and I am so grateful for the opportunity it gave me to get to work in long term care. It is an honour to be able to make a positive impact on people's lives, wether it's through providing companionship, assisting with daily activities, or simply lending a listening ear.

Personal Bio:

Outside of work I am usually focused on my education and using any time off to do things I enjoy, like having a night out, going to the gym, and self care.

Professional Experience:

I cared for people who are ill, elderly, or needed help with daily tasks. I administered bedside and personal care to residents such as aid in ambulation, lifts and transfers, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing. I assured residents were comfortable, safe and enjoyed emotional and physical well-being. I properly followed Infection Control Measures. I demonstrated dependability, good time management, team work, and communication skills.
