Lovina A.
Central Ottawa
Hi, I’m Lovina! I became a caregiver because I love supporting and caring for elderly people. My journey began when I applied for a nursing program but was waitlisted, so I pursued the Personal Support Worker program instead—and I’ve loved it ever since.
Personal Bio:
I’m originally from Nigeria and now live in Ottawa with my husband and three wonderful kids. I enjoy traveling, playing sports, and reading. Last year, I earned a diploma in Cybersecurity, but caregiving has always been close to my heart.
Professional Experience:
I’ve been a caregiver since 2008, working in home care, developmental support for children, and high-care facilities. Outside of work, I love cooking with my kids, attending church, and caring for my mother.
