I am originally from Toronto and moved to Ottawa for nursing school in 2021. I am the oldest of 3 children and have a little cat named Earl. I love cooking and exploring the parks around Ottawa.
Personal Bio:
Throughout my schooling, I worked with kids through camps, dance programs and child care and developed a love for caregiver work. I was exposed to PSW work through school placements and appreciated the positive impact that I could have on the residents' quality of life, as well as building connections and hearing their stories.
Professional Experience:
In 2023 I completed a clinical placement with my BScN program at Mirimichi Lodge which is a municipal long-term care home. I continued in that home as a casual PSW from May 2023 - April 2024. Then I moved back to Toronto and joined Amica Senior Living as a PSW where I will be working until September of 2024 when I moved back to Ottawa.
